Leading a frontend team of four across four products of a map-heavy agritech platform: a React Native/Expo app, React and Next.js web apps, and an AI assistant for farmers. Maps: OpenLayers, Leaflet and Mapbox.

• Reworked how we plan, review and test, with shorter iterations, pre-production environments and stricter test gates for deploys. Within two months, with the same headcount, we were shipping over 20% more features per sprint and catching more bugs before they reached customers.
• Designed, built and run a production AI assistant that helps farmers make agronomic decisions from their own field data. It combines LLMs from Anthropic and other providers with in-house models, plus RAG, model routing, evals and guardrails.
• Led the mobile app's migration from bare React Native to Expo (Expo modules, config plugins, prebuild/CNG), and later rebuilt it on Expo SDK 55 / React 19 as fully offline-first: after login, it works without connectivity.
• Built and own the mobile release pipeline (GitLab CI + EAS): staging builds to TestFlight on every merge, tagged releases to the App Store and Google Play gated by unit tests, and forced-update support — replacing a Fastlane pipeline on dedicated Macs.
• Started the Next.js app and set up its GitLab CI/CD on AWS Amplify — per-branch review environments, test gates, Playwright end-to-end and visual-regression tests — and maintain the React app's container deploys on AWS, with Cypress, Lighthouse and automatic staging deploys.
• Run 1:1s and growth plans with each engineer, designed our hiring technical test and take part in technical interviews. Set the team's review standards: what/how/why MR descriptions, one approval, a daily review slot and pair programming.
• Help the team code with AI agents in Claude Code and OpenCode, using spec-driven development, context engineering, MCP and AI code review.

Full stack engineer at Edpuzzle, the interactive video learning platform used by millions of teachers and students, in a codebase structured around Domain-Driven Design (DDD). I rotated across several teams and led the mobile team.

• Led the migration of the React Native app to Expo, adopting Expo libraries for native features.
• Led the mobile side during the rollout of over-the-air (OTA) updates.
• At the company's first AI hackathon, my team won 2 of the 3 awards: Best Idea and Best UX/UI.

Frontend developer on LAYERS' map-heavy agritech platform, in a team of four. I joined as a developer and became the team's go-to mobile engineer, leading the React Native app while contributing heavily to the React web app.

• Designed and built the React Native app that replaced two separate native apps — Android and iOS, each with its own developer. Owned the architecture, including an offline mode for field work; one codebase for both platforms sped up development.
• Built map features across platforms: OpenLayers on the web, Mapbox on mobile, and Leaflet for report generation.
• Improved performance with very large datasets through pagination and optimized data loading, cutting load times.

• Built trading UI features in React and Redux on an Electron-based desktop runtime (OpenFin), with AG Grid data grids and Golden Layout multi-panel workspaces.
• Tuned grid and view performance for large data volumes.

• Built and customized client sites, landing pages and online stores on WordPress and Joomla, improving SEO, accessibility and page speed.
• Built a hybrid mobile app with Apache Cordova.

• Built interactive presentations for advertising and film production companies, mostly web-based: ad launches, pitches and post-production meetings.
